Semmeldagen

It was semmeldagen yesterday. A semla is a sweet bun, split in half: Then you put marzipan on the bottom half and then whipped cream over that. On top of the whipped cream you put the other half of the bun and then icing sugar on top. Yum!!! But I eat my semlor without the marzipan.

Semmeldagen is the last day of lent. It's "celebrated" in many countries but there are not many who fast.. but almost everyone eat semlor. In Norway they eat the same kind of bun, but they eat it with jelly instead of the marzipan.
