Getting ready

I've been packing all day.. and I think I've got everything. I hope! I'm leaving in a couple of hours. Flying with Iceland Express and have one stop on Iceland. When I get to Newark airport I have to get through security and then catch a train to Wilmington. I don't get to Wilmington till 1030 pm or so. Long day!

Soon, very soon

Its just 4 days till I leave for the US! Isn't that insane? I can't wait. It's going to be so much fun to get back and see everyone again.. and just to be there too. Then we got Starbucks, BWW, Outback, Coldstone, Taco Bell... yum =) haha

It's a hot one

This summer is the hottest one since 1994. We have temperatures between 85 and 95. I like it a lot, but I'm one of few that do. Mike and I decided to go swimming after a hot day shopping in Lund. The water felt real good, it was warm enough to not be cold when u get in but cold enough to cool you down getting in. Mike is still surprised with all the kids running around naked on the beach.

Keep on digging

For the last couple of days I've been digging in the backyard. My mom and dad wants to build a deck, so my brother is going to build one... but he doesn't want to dig. I'm digging and getting a nice tan at the same time =)

We went down to the beach last night to see fireworks. The bridge between Malmö and Copenhagen is now 10 years old. That was celebrated with fireworks and a laser show. It was really pretty. We saw both the fireworks in Malmö and the ones in Copenhagen.

Midsummer

We celebrated midsummer Friday. The day started out with my dad, Mike and Michael went out to pick flowers for the midsummer pole and mom and I made the strawberry cake. We all met up at Berglunds where the guys made and decorated the midsummer pole and drank beer. Back home to get dressed for success and then back to Berglunds again for the party. Cake, kubb, beer and drinks in the sun.
Dinner was as always awesome; like 5 different kinds of herring, baby hot dogs, meatballs, sour cream, chive, vegetables, salmon, eggs, bread, cheese, crackers, melon and grapes.. and I probably forgot something. Man it's good stuff! We did some singing and drank some schnapps.

The royal wedding

The Crown princess of Sweden got married yesterday. It was a really nice wedding. The whole thing was sent on TV =)

It's the first time in history that a crown princess in Sweden is getting married. When our princess was born they changed the law from the first born boy to the first born child is going to be the heir to the throne.


This is after they got out from the church and were riding around Stockholm!
