I'm so excited!!! Mike is coming here tomorrow morning!! His flight just left Atlanta.. so he will land in Copenhagen in less than 9 hours. Aaaaah =) can't believe it... only 9 hours!! It's crazy!!

Christmas vacatione

I had my last class today before Christmas. I think we were all ready for some time off! Okay, we don't have that much time off.. got class on December 29th an 30th, and then we start again on January 4th... but its a couple of days at least.

Me and my dad are bringing the tree in today and tomorrow it's time to cook the ham that we are going to have on Christmas eve. Yum!!! All Christmas gifts are bought and wrapped. I love all the snow outside... I think I'm starting to realize it's Christmas in two days!!!!

Interesting..

People have now for a couple of years been talking about the weather. How everything we do affects the weather. Now for the past couple of weeks they have had one of the biggest meeting about the climate change.. and now we got more snow than we've had in many years!

Lucia

I just came home from seeing a beautiful Lucia in church. Sitting there in church on Lucia you realize that Christmas is coming. When they open up the door and you see Lucia and the rest of the choir I get that warm Christmas feeling. When we came out it had started snowing.. could it be better?

My dad and I went and bought two Christmas trees today. We found two very nice looking ones =) We usually keep one in the living room and then one on the "balcony" (couldn't find a better word for that room..)

I had the last exam before Christmas today. Next exam is not until January 8. Feels kinda good =) Now it's time for a week of doing almost nothing!

third time..

I got my third vaccine today.. second of the same kind. Got for hepatitis A and B in October, for the swine flue and today second shot for hepatitis A and B. We are supposed to take the vaccine for hepatitis B when we go to nursing school. Now my arm hurts =( my body doesn't like vaccines.. got trouble breathing after taking the swine flue vaccine. Now it's 6 months till next shot =)

A Christmas Carol

I saw a Christmas carol today at the movies with my mom. It was really good. A bit scary for being a Disney movie. Even though you know what's going to happen, thanks to all the other movies of a Christmas carol that's already been made, you don't know. They had found new ways to do the same thing. Disney have done a really good job with this movie. It was pretty cool that it was in 3D.. think that might have been what made it so good. It was that little extra.

New class

I started a new class Monday this week, pharmacology. I think it's interesting and fun.. to bad that the teacher just isn't the greatest.. A bad teacher can really ruin a class. He doesnt know what he's talking about, can't answer any questions and stands in front of the class and pretty much saying exactly what's in the book. This class is over after the exam on Friday, so at least it's not a big class.

Cold can be nice

It haven't been that cold outside lately. We had our first day of snow awhile ago but after that it got a bit warmer. It's been around 45-50 degrees F. Not anymore.. when I woke up this morning (at 9.30AM) it was 25 F outside! It was ice on the puddles and frost on the lawns around the neighborhood. A friend and I decided a couple of days ago that we were going to go for a walk today, something I deeply regretted now. But what to do? So I run around to find my winter boots, hat and my long johns. We decided to walk a long the beach and it was actually pretty nice. It was a "nice cold" outside. Watching the water you realized how cold it really was. It have started to move slow and look more like a smoothie than water.. I like it =)
