Applebees and outlander

Me Mike, Frankie (Mike's brother) and Rebecka (Goes to the same school as Mike and Frankie) went out to have dinner at Applebee's. It was really fun! Me and Mike shared an appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip, and then I had steak and a baked potato for dinner. YUM! After dinner we all went back here to watch a movie. Rebecka was not allowed to pick movie bc she picked a horrible movie last time so Mike got to pick last night. He didn't do that much better. He picked outlander. It was a little bit weird but it was okay to watch at least.

Woke up super early today... no fun at all! I've now decided to go for a bike ride. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.

The ride on the old "metal horse" as my dad called it went okay... it was a bit scary cause I'm not used to the kind of bike Mike has. I was only biking 10 miles so it was not that far. But can't go to far, then I wont find my way back..

School!!!

I'm going to start to study when I get back home to Sweden!!!! I'm so excited! Mommy talked with the school today and they said it should not be a problem even though I get home 3 weeks after the semester starts.

Trying to get everything figured out

I don't have that much left in the US. I'm flying out on September 18th and I'll land in Copenhagen on the 19th. I'm now trying to figure everything out for when I get back home. School, work and everything like that. It's not easy.. so it's awesome to have mommy and daddy at home to help me out =)

Back in Florida

I had my last day of work yesterday. It was sad, I really had a lot of fun during my two years here! I left for Florida at noon today and got here a little before 5 pm. It was so nice to meet mike again =) but I miss the kids already...

My room is so empty

My room is so empty now. The only thing left in here that's mine is my computer. Everything else is out in the TV-room. It fells really weird being in my room now just because it's so empty... It doesn't feel right.

Moving out

I spent pretty much all day yesterday moving stuff out from my room and have done some today too... There are so much! But it seems like it's less than i thought it was =) Don't know where to put it all now... Don't have enough suitcases for it right now since I'm using one of the suitcases to go down to Mike now.. Most of the thing I'm bringing down there is not coming with me back. When everything is out, it's just the wonderful cleaning left.. haha!

No more Alex...no more Emmy

First Alex left... and now Emmy.. Both of their time here in the US is over, and so are mine. It's over over. It's done. No more au pair life for us. A new group of girls are ready to take over. Last night was the last time for me and Emmy to hang out here in the US. She left to go on a two week long road trip with her boyfriend Eric before she is heading over to California for another 9 months. She is extending with a family in LA. Good luck Emmy! Alex is now back in Sweden after a couple of weeks in Australia, where she visited her boyfriend Scott. I'm going down to Florida to spend my last month there with Mike.

I really don't like good-byes

The good-bye party last night was a lot of fun. We were 18 adults and 11 kids so it was a bit crazy. We started out with appetizers at my house. I made my favorite one, a 8-layered dip... man it is good! We went up to Emmy's house at 9 for dinner and then cake. The dinner was just so good. These people can cook! For a cake they had gotten 2 ice-cream cakes from coldstone!!! One red velvet and one cookie dough. They were really good and there are not much left at all.... Me and Emmy made it through almost the whole night with no tears... just almost. When it came to the end and you realize there are some people you might not see again for a really long time it wasn't easy to keep the tears back..

Thank you for two amazing years here in the US!! I really appreciate everything and I will miss everyone so much.. Why do good-byes have to be s hard? I'll never get better at it..

Getting ready and organized for the party tonight, so much to do. haha. It's gonna be fun =) There are so many i haven't seen in so long that I'll get to see tonight. Gonna have appetizers at my house and then the rest up at Emmys house.

Back to PA

Going back to Pennsylvania today, but only for a couple of days. It's going to be fun to so everyone again, specially the kids.. I miss them.

Florida

I'm having an awesome time in Florida! The sun is shining, the pool is nice and the ocean is just five minutes away! I think i just have to learn to use sunscreen a little more... I burned my back yesterday.. but it's good now =) Did some swimming this morning followed by a call home. Got to talk to daddy for a little bit. I only have a few more days down here before I'm spending my last week as a working au pair in the US... quite sad! Back to the sun now =)

I'm leaving

I'm kinda leaving the family now. I have two weeks vacation while they are up in Maine. I'm going to go down to Florida and see Mike when they are gone. Mike's mom is picking me up tonight and I'm spending the night at their house. She is going to drive me to the airport tomorrow morning =) When I come back here on the 13th only Jennifer will be back here, Donnie and the kids are coming back on the 14th. We are going to have mine and Emmy's good-bye party on the 14th! Going to be fun =) Then I have my last three days of work 17-19th of August. I'm going back down to Florida on the 20th to spend almost a month down there. I'm really excited about everything, but sad at the same time. I know that my year is coming to an end and I am going to have to say good-bye to everyone soon...
